dugald-plane-crash Pilot Dies in Springfield Plane Crash

On July 26 at approximately 11 am, Oakbank RCMP were notified of a single plane crash in the RM of Springfield near Dugald.

 

RCMP,  the Springfield Fire  Department and emergency medical services attended and located the wreckage of a small, single-engine two-seater aircraft, on the north side of  Hwy 15, west of  PR 206.

 

The body of an adult male was recovered on scene . There were no other occupants on board.

 

The plane was privately owned.

 

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada was notified and is investigating.

 

Oakbank RCMP continues to investigate.
