RCMP searching for escaped prisoner from Milner Ridge
On August 12, 2026, at 9 p.m., Lac du Bonnet RCMP were notified of an escaped prisoner from Milner Ridge Correctional Centre in the RM of Lac du Bonnet.
Lac du Bonnet RCMP with the assistance of RCMP Police Dog Services and drone operators attended immediately. Roadblocks were also put in place, but the prisoner was not located.
The escaped prisoner, Justin Paul, 44, is described as 6’0”, 227 lbs, with black hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen walking northeast of the facility into a wooded area wearing a grey t-shirt and one shoe.
Manitoba RCMP are advising everyone in the area to report any suspicious activity and to not pick up to any hitchhikers.
If seen, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
Anyone with information about Justin Paul’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lac du Bonnet RCMP at 204-345-6311, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
